This Carers Week we celebrate the voices and experiences of local carers. Creating space for sharing and listening between carers and decision makers in East Sussex. We are inviting you to enjoy a day, where you will have the opportunity to hear from national and local speakers, visit the marketplace to see what’s available for carers, discuss issues that matter to you with the decision makers who can make a difference, and network with other carers and service providers. And let’s not forget plenty of tea and coffee and a delicious lunch served by the Kings Centre and their catering team.

The theme of the conference is: Experiences of navigating and accessing health and social care services.

Afternoon workshops (delivered by Care for the Carers and partner organisations) will focus on:

– Technology enabled care
– Carers breaks and respite
– Dementia support
– Parent carers and transition from children to adult services

We are back at Kings Centre, in Eastbourne (Hampden Park) with easy parking and access by public transport.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed for Carers.
