Care for the Carers:
The Carers Toolkit is a programme designed by carers, for carers and aims to equip carers with skills and information on a wide range of caring issues to improve the health and wellbeing of carers and ensure that they have a better knowledge of the support services available to them.

Coastal Wellbeing: WRAP for Carers (Wellness Recovery Action Plan)
If you are an unpaid carer, supporting someone who couldn’t manage without your help, attending a WRAP group for carers will provide you with the opportunity to explore safe and simple tools that you can use to maintain your wellbeing and support you when you are facing challenges. WRAP provides you with a framework which can support you in every part of your life.
The courses are free of charge. Booking is essential.
ICE Project: Carers Information Course
This course is for anyone supporting someone with a mental health issue who lives in East Sussex. It is an opportunity to learn more about mental health, look at options around how you can help and consider looking after your own wellbeing when times are stressful. It is also helpful to meet other people in a similar situation and share your experience.
Its free, travel can be paid and a light lunch will be provided.
East Sussex County Council: Carer Aware (Online)
These courses are aimed at raising the awareness of the role of both carers and young carers (under 18 years old) and the support available to them. It can be taken by carers or health and social care practitioners alike.
