East Sussex Parent Carers Council have asked us to share the new of this inspection with Carers.
Next week (5th – 9th Dec) a team of inspectors from OFSTED and CQC (Care Quality Commission) will be in East Sussex looking at how the local authority and local health services are working for children and young people with additional needs (SEND).
They will be looking at this for ALL children and young people 0-25 with additional needs, NOT just those with an EHC plan or a statement.
If you have had experience of services or provision for your child or young person since September 2014, the Inspectors will want to hear from you…..
On Wednesday 7th Dec @ 7.30 pm, there will be a webinar for families which you can join using your smart phone, tablet, or computer. The Inspectors will ask questions and you type your reply, it’s that easy, and all information shared will be confidential/anonymous.
You will need to register to take part, and we will send you the link in the next couple of days.
Once registered, you can join the webinar on Wednesday 7th December from wherever you are, you just need internet access! No need to leave your house!
However, if you don’t have access to a smart phone, tablet, or computer, and would still like to take part, please contact us as soon as possible – firstname.lastname@example.org or on 07432 067242
We hope you can contribute to this important review, and if you have any questions please look at our website eastsussexpacc.org or contact us as above.
